                        <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hello,<br /><br />I wonder if there is a fixed order in which the YDOC reads the data from different inputs (analog, SDI-12)? Is it related to the measurement or output list?<br /><br />I want to use two analog inputs (A3 &amp; A4). The sensors are powerd by the YDOC (12V, X4.1) and need 5 and 10s warm-up time for a stable signal. As they are powered at the same time, I could skip the 5s when the sensor with 10s is read first (or use only additional 5s instead of 10 when the 5s-sensor is read first). Would this work? <br /><br />Remarks:</p>
<ul>
<li>same logging intervall for all sensors (10 min)</li>
<li>SDI-12 sensors are conected and powered as well by the 12V from the YDOC (they also need „some“ seconds for the measurement)</li>

It's a huge loss, especially considering all the investments we made in this promising technology. According to the representatives of SpaceX, their "Direct to Cell" service will be compatible with the existing modems used in our ML-E417 and ML-A417 LTE Cat 1 data loggers. The ML-E417 supports the EMEA bands, while the ML-A417 covers the APAC bands. However, we ceased production of the latter due to limited demand in favor of the ML-417 with CAT-M. Once we can test the "Direct to Cell" service in Europe with the ML-E417 and get positive results, we might consider resuming production of the ML-A417.<br /><br />Alternatively, we are also awaiting the commercial release of Telit modems supporting the NTN 3GPP standard.<br /><br />So yes, we are committed to jumping on the "internet from space" train as soon as it becomes feasible.<br /><br />Regards,<br />Marnix</p>]]></content:encoded>

<p>Actually, you can use a higher ohmic voltage divider, as long as you compensate for this input impedance.</p>
<p>You can even use only 1 resistor in series and the voltage divider will be 32k/(32k+R).</p>
<p>Because this solution requires a little math, we have put an analog output on our own 12V charger board, the ML-PB-SLA.</p>
<p>But of course 12V is bigger than the input thandles, so this board outputs 1/2 Vbat.</p>
<p>IF you use a 32K resistor, you have also half of the battery voltage.</p>]]></content:encoded>
