Q: How to test DNS availability on the data logger?
A: You can perform a DNS test on the data logger modem:
From Main menu, choose: Maintenance -> COM port terminal -> Modem
The modem is powered up and after “OK” ready for testing.
Enter AT#QDNS=<a_known_FQDN_to_verify>
When DNS is working, the translation is shown.
T: Network credentials and DNS server addresses are provided by the network operator, when failing, contact your network operator.
